Welcome to our Rhythm Stick Wines Website.
We are a small producer specialising in rare, premium quality, award winning Riesling wines from our boutique, dry grown, single Clare Valley Riesling vineyard.
Our Boutique size enables us to spend the vineyard time necessary to produce premium riesling fruit, something not economically available to the large production companies. Our consistent show award results over separate vintages are remarkable for a small scale operation such as ours. We do not blend grapes from different locations, ours is a an appelation style operation that continues to highlight the special nature of our Terrior.

At the 2012 Macquarie Group, Royal Agricultural Show of NSW, Wine award presentations held in Sydney on Thursday 16th February both our 2009 and 2011 Red Robin Rieslings were each awarded Gold Medals & then went on to win Trophies. To find our Wines open the "Wine Show Results link" and scroll down to the Class 23 results for the Riesling Varietal, Gold Medal Awards. To view the Perpetual Trophy Wines & our wines scroll to the end of the "Awards listings -“Wine Special Prizes”. There were 5 Gold Medals Awarded in the strong, Class 23 Riesling Varietal category and both of our Red Robin Rieslings picked up Gold Medals & prestigious Trophies.
Our 2010 Riesling was ineligible for the Wine Show as a minimum of 4,500 litre annual production is required.

The James Halliday Australian Wine Companion - 2012 Edition (www.winecompanion.com.au) has awarded Rhythm Stick Wine Company a ★★★★☆ Rating.
This rating covers our 2009 and 2010 Riesling and Reserve Rieslings. The Wine Ratings given were:
- The 2009 Reserve Riesling a - 94 point - Outstanding rating
- The 2009 Riesling a - 92 Point - Highly Recommended rating.
- The 2010 Reserve Riesling a - 93 point - Highly Recommended rating, and
- The 2010 Riesling a - 91 Point - Highly Recommended rating.
Experience shows that our Rieslings continue to improve over time, the highly awarded 2009 Riesling along with its big sister, the 2009 Reserve for example are continuing to drink exceptionally well with (limited quantities remain). Our 2010 Rieslings are just starting to hit their straps and the 2011 is showing excellent development at this very early stage.

We invite you to take a stroll through our website, we try to provide as much detail as possible regarding our Rieslings and all matters on Riesling and wine. We are a new, small wine production company with a single focus - "The production of Premium Quality Dry Riesling".
Our wines are sold directly through this website, refer to "Purchase Wines" section and through selected retail and distribution outlets. At present our Riesling can be largely found in selected South Australian and Victorian outlets. Refer to "Distributors" page under the "Purchase Wines" section of this website for details.
As our reputation for premium Riesling grows we intend to extend our sales into other Australian States when suitable representative agents are established.
